Small Injury Claims Negotiator
Location: Remote, available during PST office hours

About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, empathetic, and assertive Small Injury Claims Negotiator to join our personal injury team. In this role, you’ll work directly with insurance adjusters, clients, and medical providers to resolve lower-value injury claims efficiently and fairly. Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate small to mid-level personal injury claims for settlement potential

Review medical records, bills, and liability documentation to build a strong negotiation file

Initiate and conduct settlement negotiations with insurance adjusters

Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and manage expectations

Draft demand letters and settlement documentation

Maintain accurate records in the case management system

Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to escalate cases when necessary
Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in personal injury claims, insurance adjusting, or legal support

Strong understanding of bodily injury claims and medical treatment timelines

Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills
-
Ability to manage a high volume of cases while meeting deadlines

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Experience with legal or insurance software preferred

Senior Paralegal (Remote)

We’re looking for a Senior Paralegal who’s detail-obsessed, experienced in California PI, and ready to take ownership of cases from intake to settlement or trial prep. This role is 100% remote but requires strong communication, self-direction, and availability during California business hours.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of pre-litigation and litigation files

Draft demand letters, complaints, discovery responses, and trial documents

Order and review medical records, police reports, and bills

Calculate damages and prepare settlement breakdowns

Work directly with clients to gather documentation and updates

Track deadlines, court dates, and ensure timely filings

Liaise with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel

Support attorneys with trial preparation as needed

Use firm’s case management software (e.g., Lead Docket and Case Peer)
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury (plaintiff-side required)

Extensive knowledge of California civil procedure

Strong legal writing and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, communicate professionally, and multitask

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required

Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls, web leads, and chat inquiries in real time

Conduct empathetic, structured intakes with prospective clients

Schedule consultations or route high-value leads to attorneys

Follow up with unresponsive or undecided leads (text/email/phone)

Track lead status, source, and outcomes for reporting
Ideal Candidate Traits

Excellent phone presence and active listening skills

Comfortable speaking with accident victims in high-stress situations

Strong attention to detail; no missed notes or typos

Tech-savvy and comfortable with CRMs, VoIP tools, and GSuite

Experience in personal injury law, medical intake, or call center work a plus

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
