Amanda Jaeger –
Personal Injury Attorney
“A personal injury case is an opportunity to bring something positive out of what is typically one of the worst days of a person’s life.”
— Amanda Jaeger, Attorney at Mova Law Group

Amanda Jaeger, Personal Injury Lawyer
Within her first four months at Mova Law Group, Amanda took on the California Attorney General’s Office — and won. She secured a victory in a wrongful death lawsuit arising from a death at a state correctional facility in Sacramento, proving from day one that she is exactly the kind of fearless, skilled advocate our clients deserve.
We Could Not Be More Excited
At Mova Law Group, we are beyond thrilled to have Amanda Jaeger on our team and not just because she is an exceptional attorney. Amanda is the real deal. She is warm, down to earth, and driven by a genuine desire to help people who are going through the hardest moments of their lives. She does not see clients as case numbers. She sees them as people who need someone in their corner, and she shows up for them every single time. That kind of heart is not something you can teach, and it is exactly what makes her a perfect fit for our firm.
A Life Built on Service
Born and raised in Vermont, Amanda Jaeger has lived all over the country and traveled extensively around the world. She is fluent in two languages with conversational skills in two more – a reflection of her deep curiosity about people, their cultures, and their stories.
Before attending law school, Amanda built a diverse career rooted in serving others. She spent a year with AmeriCorps, worked in the nonprofit sector, and served in animal control and code enforcement. It was during her time in animal control that Amanda investigated and successfully referred several animal cruelty cases for prosecution. She also spearheaded the largest large-animal cruelty seizure and case in the county – a defining experience that cemented her lifelong passion for fighting on behalf of those who cannot fight for themselves.
Academic Excellence at California Western School of Law
Amanda attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, where she proved to be a force in the classroom and the courtroom. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, earned two Distinguished Advocate Awards, and received two CALI Awards for achieving the highest grade in her respective courses. Her academic record speaks for itself – but it is how she applies that knowledge to real people’s lives that truly sets her apart.
A Well-Rounded Legal Background
Since graduating, Amanda has practiced across multiple areas of law including employment law, family law, and civil litigation. That breadth of experience gives her a strategic advantage in personal injury cases, where understanding the full legal landscape — from insurance disputes and wrongful death claims to civil rights litigation – can make the difference between a good outcome and a great one.
A Champion for the Underdog
Amanda joined Mova Law Group because of a passionate desire to help people when they need it
most. She believes that a personal injury case is an opportunity to bring something positive out of what is typically one of the worst days of a person’s life. Whether she is standing up to a state agency, an insurance company, or a negligent corporation, Amanda brings the same level of dedication, preparation, and genuine care to every single client she represents.
With her unique background spanning nonprofit work, animal welfare enforcement, multilingual communication, and complex litigation, Amanda is dedicated to making sure every client at the firm is treated like the person they are – not just a file on a desk. She is grateful to be part of a team that shares that mission every single day, and we are grateful to have her.
